Another day and another successful ‘Raise for Life‘ event completed, Al’hum’dulilah. On the 2nd of April, ‘Raise for Life’ took over forty runners to the 12th annual Regency 10k run, hoping to raise money for water filtration systems, which will be constructed in the most deprived areas of Pakistan by our charity partner ‘Al-Khair Foundation‘. The runners participating were blessed with sunny weather (unlike last years muddy conditions).  Some set personal bests and some took the relaxed approach, regardless they raised awareness for the cause (the florescent t shirts helped), which was our main aim.
We are still waiting for sponsorship money to come in before we can make an announcement pertaining to the amount raised. Fortunately, there is still time to donate to this particular initiative, which can be done via our ‘Justgiving‘ page. In the meantime, please check out the video and pics from the day. Hope you were smiling.
