Whilst the world looked on in horror during July 2014, many Gazan’s were forced to take shelter in buildings and other dwellings with the hope that they would not be targeted next. On return to their homes families and whole communities found piles of smouldering rubble that they once called home. With no material to rebuild their lives, many were forced to take shelter in tents and bombed buildings.
Interpal has stated 164,000 Gazan’s are without homes and 38,000 homes need rebuilding In order to help alleviate the suffering and give some support for a few, Raise for Life would like to build better equipped temporary housing. It will cost £8,000 for One bed house with kitchen and bathroom in Khan Younis, Abassan, Bani Suhailah and Rafa. We pray for long and lasting peace that will allow the people of Gaza to live their lives to the fullest. Please donate through our ‘My Donate‘ page, whatever you can.
