Conclusion of project UKIM Dawah Centre International for the printing of new Quran’s

In September 2018, Raise for Life partnered with the UKIM Dawah Centre
International, which is a UK registered charity (Charity Number: 250275) and held a
family Fun Day at Wibbly Wobbly World of Play, on Saturday 27th October 2018 to
help raise funds for the charity so they can continue to support the international
Qur’an appeal.
Since its inception in 1993, UKIM Dawah Centre International, have been distributing
Islamic literature and Qurans in the UK and around the world to call people to Allah
SWT’s beautiful religion of Islam.
As part of this noble effort, Raise for Life assisted UKIM Dawah Centre International
to raise funds, which helped in printing and distributing of translated versions of the
Holy Quran. The translated Qurans would be distributed through the UKIM Dawah
Centre International weekly Dawah Stalls around the UK to anyone interested in
learning the word of Allah SWT.
The cost of printing these translated Qurans is £3 each and are printed on quality
paper with hardback covers. The Qurans also contain 17 short dawah related books
to aid the reader with a further understanding of the Holy Quran, answers to common
misconceptions about Islam and other related topics.
A grand total of £5,812.27 was raised from the event held at Wibbly Wobbly World of
Play. Children from various local madrassas participated in a colouring competition
and got sponsored donations for the best picture by a boy and girl. Subsequently
prizes were given out the best pictures and highest fundraising boy and girl.
A huge thank you to all those were involved.
