Raise for Life’ annual indoor cricket tournament is back for another round of exquisite cricket. This December be part of something special, helping to change the lives of the suffering people of Yemen, who are currently amid a humanitarian crisis. As previously announced, we are currently working with ‘Islamic Relief‘, who have undertaken an emergency cholera appeal and will be providing ground support for the most affected areas in Yemen.
The main aim(s) of this project are as follows:
- Procurement of medical supplies for cholera treatment
- Distribution of 500 Hygiene kits
- Provision of chlorine tabs (36,500 Tablets) for chlorination of water tanks
This year’s cricket tournament will be held in aid of this particular initiative. The tournament itself will take place on Sunday the 31st of December, 2017 at the Indoor Cricket Centre (Edgbaston, Birmingham).
