A small followup regarding the ‘Springs of Hope – Family Centre‘ initiative, which ‘Raise for Life‘ actively raised funds for during 2015-16. You’ll be pleased to hear that we’ve received some feedback from our charity partner at the time ‘SKT Welfare‘, referencing this particular project. As you may recall, a number of ‘Raise for Life’ events took place including the Rock Legends XI Vs. Alum Rock FC charity football match, the Syria Champions Trophy 2015 and Running for Refugees 2016 all in aid of this project, which resulted in over £42,000 being raised. Alhumdulillah.
With the grace of the Almighty and your kind support via donations and sponsorship received, the ‘Springs of Hope – Family Centre‘ has now been completed and is fully functioning. Raise for Life generated enough funds to support 6 family rooms, which are now accommodated by Syrian mothers and children.
