Food Parcels for Ramadhan 2016 – Followup

Tulip-4Just a small followup pertaining to this years Ramadhan initiative.  Below are some pictures of food parcels being received by the Rohingya Muslims in Burma during the last days of Ramadhan.  Each family were given rice, oil, beans, onions, garlic, fried chilli with prawns, potatoes, salt, dry fish and dates. The food parcels provided a family of between 5-8 people to eat for a month. This was a 100% donation policy project, which meant every penny you donated was spent on providing the maximum amount of food parcels.  Administration costs to transport the food, organise and arranging distribution was provided by the charity ‘Islamic Help‘. May Allah (SWT) accept from everyone who contributed towards this cause and ease the suffering for those persecuted in Burma and elsewhere. If you require any further information regarding this or any other ‘Raise for Life‘ projects, please feel free to contact your local ‘Raise for Life’ representative. Jazakhallah Khair.
