Just an update regarding this Saturdays ‘Family Fun Day‘ event. This particular event was organised in aid of Yemeni orphan children, raising money for school bags/accessories. This was an opportunity for the local community to come together and open their hearts for a worthy cause, they did not disappoint. The event itself was a huge success and we managed to raise over £3,700 on the night (with still some money to be collected), Alhumdulilah.
Disney’s Minnie and Mickey Mouse were in attendance, as well as various other children’s favourites. With numerous stalls offering a variety of foods/face painting/clothing…..etc, it was an extremely fun atmosphere for all the family to enjoy. One of the ‘Raise for Life’ brothers even managed to lose all of his hair by the end of the night (all in the aid of charity).
A big ‘Thank You’ to all who attended, our sponsors and volunteers for making this a memorable event. Unfortunately, we have not hit our initial target of £5,000, so there is still time to donate via this link. Ja’zakh’Allah.
