Conclusion of the ‘Bag 2 School’ Initiative

schoolBack in October we announced we would be working with ‘Saba Relief & Development Foundation‘ (a charity working to provide aid for the populace of Yemen), raising money for their ‘School Project 2016’ initiative. We organised a family fun day event which was held on he 29th of October, this event helped us raise our initial target of £5000 (official total was £5,052.32 Al’humdu’lilah). You will be pleased to hear that the money raised has now been allocated to Saba Relief and has been used to purchase school bags/stationary kits for 500 Yemeni orphan children (covering the area of Aden). Pictures of the orphan children receiving their school bags can be seen below.

This ends Raise for Life’ involvement with this project, if you wish to donate to this endeavor please contact Saba Relief directly.

NB: Our next event will take place before the end of this year and is currently in the planning phase, we will be officially announcing it along with our new charity partner in the coming weeks.
