This Ramadhan, ‘Raise for Life‘ will be working in conjunction with ‘Islamic Help‘, to raise money for food parcels which will be distributed to displaced Rohingya muslim families.The Rohingya population in Myanmar is estimated at 1.5 million, the majority of them in Rakhine state near the border with Bangladesh. Across the country, 500,000 Rohingya are internally displaced – many in camps from which they are not allowed to leave – and about 800,000 are stateless and have no rights or access to basic services.
